Also the reader plugin shows this error for all pages when enabled in Safari.

@dayoneapp.com is there a way to get the native Strava integration for your longtime loyal plus users? This seems to be the one main missing feature. Otherwise is there anything unique to the integration that can’t be achieved via a monthly manual import of the data?

And Reader remains the only RSS reader that doesn’t support the incredible popular HackerNews feed. Glad at least fixed it for DaringFireball. Hoping these are inching closer to being resolved?

@readwise.bsky.social any progress on being able to customize the Feed view? In all other rss readers there is compact, default expanded and most all email clients. Reader remains the only one with only expanded view making larger rss collections untenable?

Just like Google, they never will. But keep hoping Apple will offer a modern Aperture to compete with Lightroom but full embraces all Apple’s tech and design. Seems more likely Apple would just pull out of the pro market completely or just offer more a Photos+ but here’s to the dreamers.

My number one hope for Apple each year is the return of Aperture. Photos is a wonderful consumer photo organizer, but light years away from Lightroom Classic. Adobe is heading towards less pro focus with Lightroom and wrapped in AI craze and doesn’t embrace Apple tech.

Found the setting on iOS. So lets me set custom but like macOS I can’t just choose Safari or Chrome etc. Meaning it would get out of date rather than auto updating. Can this be fixed?

@kagi.com does setting custom user agent setting on Mac sync to iOS? As want to make sure iOS user agent for Orion is always Safari and not Orion.

But again just small cosmetic things. The big issue for me is definitely resolved. Hope you have a great day.

Also if you are looking for additional feedback the popup UI is a bit less glanceable an macOSy compared to Apple’s / CleanShots

Add options to match CleanShot's / Apple's typical short length that would be great, but that's more cosmetic, the copy feature definetly is major.

You are amazing, works wonderfully. Thank you so much! One thing I notice is it seems to linger longer than CleanShot and the native Apple version. Those both default to 5 seconds but looks like the lowest option is 10 seconds. If the next time you are working on your next beta update if anyway to

Can’t do the file upload stuff to DO with custom domain like drop can and so looking to consolidate too one app if DO can do the same cleanshot features.

Yes, I always have the floating capture enabled. If you think might be quite short term could do manual for now or if more likely longer could check back in the future? Other than the one big Tahoe beta bug that freezes the screen when using floating captures, cleanshot has been great but

Yes, that's the key functionality that CleanShot automates. Since you have the manual functionality hopefully in the future will be able to match CleanShots ease of use / automation of that. Or if there is a newsletter or something can subscribe to get notified of when/if that is added, that works 2

many people are looking at alternatives like myself until that's fixed, but I'm sure won't be too long. Thanks for your help non the less!

And yes, see you can manually click copy in the popup, but for something do all the time, definitely wouldn't want to regress to an extra unnecessary step. But definitely will give it a look again next time. CleanShot has a major bug with the latest macOS beta, so currently

Where specifically when taking a "screenshot" it gets copied to the clipboard and also downloaded to a specific folder. And then if dragging files to the menu icon the clipboard gets a url for the file. So it's almost there just missing the very important screenshot automatically to clipboard.

Ah darn. That's what I was worried. Will have to stick with CleanShot for now then as as use that feature all the time all day. But will set a reminder for a year from now to check back again to see if that has changed for those looking for the same special sauce of CleanShot.

Can you point me in the direction of the setting to have auto copied to clipboard?

Since you mentioned Dropshare, like CleanShot can save keyboard initiated screenshots to clipboard and save locally automatically, I've installed to give it a test. By default it's saving locally but not copying to clipboard when doing cmd + shift + 4 for instance.

That I can click on to markup screenshot of needed as well too before sending? And where sharing files that i manually drop into the menu bar app having that auto copy the share link to my clipboard?

1 month ago 0 0 1 0

@dropshare.bsky.social currently use cleanshot for screenshots but wondering if Dropshare can do the same? Specifically, take screenshots/videos with standard keyboard shortcuts and copy them to clipboard and also at same time save locally to a specified folder and have that temp popup window

And AppleRaw profiles currently are terrible compared to Lightroom’s, so not very hopeful. But just the idea of a new Aperture / Photos Pro, gives me hope.

competitor. A modern Aperture 2 with in full Apple integrations, could be incredible. But Apple has shown only less and less interest in true professional apps, so feel if anything they would target the Lightroom app vs Lightroom Classic/CaptureOne capabilities.

Capture One while beautiful in many ways, is a far cry from Lightroom Classic library wise and much smaller community and dreadful mobile platform. With Apple’s new Creator Suite, while currently underwhelming, when they add Photomator eventually, think that is our last hope to a true Lightroom

Lightroom seemingly stopped attempting to narrow the gap with Classic a few years ago, and things such as keyword hierarchy, plugin support, offline search, full meta filtering, full keyword support, map view, etc may never come. Especially now with the entire focus on new AI features.
