I *hate* making a mistake simply because I'm using some convoluted instructions someone added random details to. Makes me look like I don't know what I'm doing and I can't stand that. I'll own up to an honest mistake, but in these instances I just want to scream.

Superfluous details on written instructions confuse me. It's a serious issue. You want data on the bottom of a document, just fucking say that instead of "on the third day of the week this processes, if we're running these programs, add it here, which is actually this section."

That's my hope. If they know when to reel it in a bit, we're set.

The art direction. Sets, costumes, etc., as long as we get at least competent acting i think we'll be good. My biggest concern is the injection of unfunny bad humor attempts. But we'll see. I'm optimistic so far.

With good direction we can still get decent performances out of them, maybe. Hopefully. Cuz yeah, they really nailed the look of quite a few of the characters.

I thought it looked fun. It's cheesy. It's cartoon-y. It's over the top.

I'm usually more of a fan of "this guy is evil simply to be evil, but Doom - and Magneto, too - is a really excellent complex villain. Kind of has like his own code of honor. Has been willing to put aside differences with enemies for greater good.
