My Son’s First Big Snow #photography

They stopped what they were doing and stared.

Not sure of what to do, they waited.

When I looked back, they went back to what they were doing.

This is Lewis in my office.

He spends most of the day sleeping at this window while I work all day long.

With the cooler weather coming, I’m able to open the window and he does less sleeping and more looking.

I unfortunately do the same amount of working.

Went to the Art Institute of Chicago and this was my absolute favorite picture.

Don’t get me wrong, a Van Gogh is pretty awesome to get a picture with, but listening to this father explaining art to his daughter will surely turn into conversations for decades to come.

I think this is the first time I’ve just sat and relaxed in over 2 months.

Moving can be a logistical nightmare, especially when moving to a different state, but once you get where you’re going, the nightmares start to be taken over by the dreams that started it all.

An Old Wall #photography

City Wall in York England.

I walked this while thinking what it was like back when walls were the city’s main defense.

Today, they are like locks. They keep good people out.

Bad people will find a way, but many spend all day trying to stop someone that will never come.

I love going to places and seeing beautiful art. The stuff amazes me at times with what people have and are able to do with their hands.

And sometimes, I just have to giggle, cause this guy didn’t know what to do with his hands, or maybe he just doesn’t have any AFs to give.
