It's the room situation...always such a hassle that 9 times out of 10 I just don't even bother unless one falls in my lap. Even Vancoufur was booked solid, it's getting ridiculous at this point.

Not an overseas one. My feeling is that I'm more inclined to go explore and do sightseeing rather than spend time in a con hotel where I won't know many other people. But that's not to say it doesn't sound fun!

Whenever I get asked what con I'm going to next, my answer is a resounding ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
