A nine-item daily self-care handbook for palliative care staff was surveyed (75% response). Most found it useful, especially hydration and asking/offering help. Adherence was high. During COVID-19, usefulness and adherence increased further.

A study of a 5-minute group meditation during palliative care rounds found 59% participation and high satisfaction. Participation was linked to perceived stress reduction and control, with many clinicians continuing meditation weekly outside rounds.
pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/40285484/
A survey of palliative care staff evaluated a 13-item self-care checklist carried in lab coats. Among 82% respondents, most found it useful. Exercise ranked highest, visual arts lowest. Findings support feasibility of workplace self-care tools to address burnout.
