I found this for a steal and grabbed it because I love skyward sword and yep. still love skyward sword. I will say I do actually miss the gyro motion controls but just for the sword, lots of little hiccups in this version about the exact direction im swinging or accidentally doing a spin attack

I always forget I constantly play a hyper complicated strategy game right until a family member asks me to join in game night and I have to put the power limiters on so they dont get pissy
seems like it. the only thing with kill in it is killer needle which snuck in the first tcg set and the only place death shows up is the word “deadly” or when its not about actually dying (dead-end, dead heat)
the writing and characters are right up there with scarlet/violet so I hope thats just a trend with the current devs and we’ll get more of that. pretty decent game but nothing too special, definitely not tempted to go for the dlc or even all the sidequests I missed
kind of disappointing after arceus really drew me in ti the point it made me want to complete the dex, but the pacing in this game is like almost perfect. every time I was getting bored (which happened quite a bit I think this combat system is subpar) it had something to draw me back in
not a game that ends but does have a main quest I beat. if you like cozy games this is like hardline drugs. genuinely takes so many concepts from the other great games like this and wraps it in a sugary sweet pokemon blanket.
