Hehehe
Insane to be talking about "unreal cope" while simultaneously trying desperately to manufacture a backlash that is not happening.
Do them with the correct lemon-squeezer hats and I'll confer honorary Kiwi status upon you
The newly previewed jump pack Chaplain from the 11th edition 40k starter set, cropped to focus on a purity seal attached to one of the thrusters. Instead of hanging down from the wax seal and then folding back over itself with the motion of the model, the parchment is blowing straight back like a streamer.
It's a small thing to gripe about, but I don't like it when purity seals are sculpted like this.
It implies that either the whole wax seal has rotated, despite presumably being fixed to the jump pack, or it was placed in such a way that the parchment would be hanging awkwardly when not in motion.
I mean, the show is so un-produced that any outtakes would be indistinguishable from the show itself. Once you've drunkenly thrown hatchets around your own studio, there's not much bottom left in the barrel.
See: the 1000+ episodes of Knowledge Fight.
He may, finally, be better tomorrow (because he'll be unemployed)
I'm sure the New Zealand Dollar prices will be sane and reasonable.
Yes, I've read it, and the Art of War, and Clausevitz's On War. I was one of Those Guys when I was younger.
I'm pretty comfortable saying that the average person won't learn much from them that's applicable to their daily life, or even modern political landscape that they couldn't intuit already.
You think a guy with a warhammer mini for his profile pic had to Google the Italian Wars? ๐
Given Machiavelli was writing for oligarchs during the Italian Wars, I'm not sure many people will be in a position to take his advice on gaining and keeping power.
I mean, I guess "lie about your goals" is broadly applicable, but raising a citizen military to oust the Spanish seems less so.
Turns out Kharg is the real Gilligan's Island
Eh, I mean, only if you plan to run a state or field a large army of mercenaries
Seems like we should be building robots that can do things humans *can't* do, rather than ones that do things humans already do, while looking like they've shit themselves.
G.I. Robot, from Creature Commandos, narrows his eyes and says "That's what a Nazi would say"
ZOG, huh?
Ultramarines Contemptor Dreadnought, armed with gravis multi-melta and power fist
He's not seen the table much in 3rd edition, but I still like him.
Fucking bleak, man.
Sir, this a joke about fucking the pope.
You can't just subskeet Andy Weir like this
A decent sized wฤtฤ, New Zealand's iconic native insect, climbing on a screen net. This one is a male, identifiable by the two little spines at his rear.
Guess you're not too fond of this weather, either?

Models from the world of John Blanche's En Garde are coming to Kickstarter on May 1st. Link in the comments!

Hey now, true servants of the machine god know that Abominable Intelligence is blasphemous
rip to all the people excommunicated by the pope for their heresy but im different. and better. maybe even better than the pope
I don't know, Stop Boys seems kind of appropriate for a transfem anthem?
Oh, absolutely, and while *I* might find it hard to go past the siren song of efficiency offered by an axe + club + grenades, I'm sure there's people out there who really like a polearm or shotgun on theirs. Glad you're catering to us both.
A quintet of Prussian Stosstruppen for Trench Crusade. From left to right they're equipped with: tank-splitter and grenades, sword and grenades, trench club and axe, axe and severed head, and shotgun.
The Stosstruppen box is very nice, continuing the trend for the Trench Crusade plastic kits.
I now have more of them than I can legally field, of course, but that just gave me an excuse to build a couple of loadouts I wouldn't have otherwise, like the shotgun.
The novelisation of Fire Warrior was pretty insane, IIRC. I think O'Kais kills a Lord of Change with a headbutt?
Spoilers for a 23 year old video game tie-in novel, I guess.
I'm skeptical about a Bloodborne adaptation, because the story is extremely cryptic even for a FromSoft title, but I guess having someone who's at least played it producing might give it a leg up over other video game movies.
