Multiomics and TCR Sequencing in Immunotherapy | Repertoire Room Ep. 5
Multiomics and TCR Sequencing in Immunotherapy | Repertoire Room Ep. 5 YouTube video by ImmuneWatch

For the latest episode of The Repertoire Room Podcast, I sat down with Samra Turajlic after her talk at The Festival of Genomics and Biodata.

"We could only understand this because we were able to track the clones through TCR sequencing."

Check it out on YouTube:

Is it possible that in the newest update of Spotify, I can not switch from VIDEO mode to AUDIO only mode anymore?

I used to be able to switch very easily and now it seems some button disappeared as I just can't figure it out. Super annoying

Well thank you for doing all the work.

Going from potential computational matches to real in-depth validation, nice to see that in one paper!

Taking our score-cutoff of 0.23 it does confidently says 86333_1456 is a match, while for the other two not.

Especially if you narrow down to the separate chain level, then it has its doubt about the specificity of the alpha chains...

In any case, thanks for sharing!

Hi Joe, Good stuff.

Thanks for clearly pointing out these edge cases!

But of course, I wondered if ImmuneWatch DETECT would have a clear separation between your reactive EBNA3A TCRs and non-reactive ones.

It's always easy in hindsight so take it for what it's worth 😉

I'll be in London at the festival of Genomics later this week.

Hit me up if you want to connect!

I can imagine that this must also have been a rough week for you. All the best during these hard times.

Thanks for the write-up

One of my favourite pics of Peer.

Took this one on a summer day in 2021 during a lab get-to-together at his place.

Cheer to you too Peer.

Après-Ski scientific sessions from 16:00 till very late.

For many years, Peer Bork organised Bio-IT retreats to bring together the bioinformaticians across EMBL, in Garmisch-Partenkirchen and later Feldberg. Days out on the mountain followed by forward-looking and meta-science oriented sessions in the hut that fueled many projects and careers.

In remembrance of Peer Bork  | EMBL EMBL and its community are deeply saddened by the death of Peer Bork, the organisation’s Interim Director General.

I can not believe this news.

The EMBL community, microbiome field and bioinformatics in general loses a legend 😢

Fair enough!

Finding the putative target of a TCR is hard!

But I am really excited to see that innovative cancer therapy companies like Obsidian Therapeutics are getting some real value out of using our database + machine learning algorithm.

That's a very nice way of putting it :)

Among many things, in this episode we discuss:
- Obsidian's lead program, OBX-115, a modified TIL cell therapy
- The critical role of TCR sequencing in profiling infusion products, tracking clonotypes, and identifying biomarkers for therapy response.

Episode 3 of “The Repertoire Room” has just been released!

After 2 episodes with technology providers in the TCR sequencing space, I now wanted to have a conversation with someone that was really using these technologies to push innovative therapies to patients.
