"Even if these talks fail, Pakistan still suffers no loss," IGA's @khansahar1.bsky.social tells BBC Urdu.
"Hosting the talks has proven that Pakistan understands everyone's point of view and has the ability to convince people to talk to each other."
This map shows how long ships have been stuck in the Persian Gulf.
Most have been there since the first US-Israeli attack against Iran, 47 days ago.
On Monday, Trump initiated a blockade of Iranian ports, via US naval vessels in the Arabian Sea.
Amid war in the Middle East, rising oil prices, and an unpredictable American president, how can we begin to make sense of things?
Host Jonathan Guyer is joined by friend of the pod Tyler McBrien (@tylermcbrien.com) managing editor at Lawfare to discuss.

Viktor Orbán, Hungary's semi-autocratic prime minister, was voted out of office after 16 years in power.

3/ Iran may be the immediate crisis but India is the larger opportunity.
A disciplined American exit from the Iran war would vindicate Indian engagement with the United States.
2/ What India has received instead is strategic whiplash.
The US has pressured India to reduce purchases of Russian oil, threatened punitive tariffs and then partially reversed course in a trade deal.
Meanwhile, it has deepened ties with India’s longtime rival, Pakistan.
1/ India rewards serious strategic attention.
Its economy is among the world’s fastest-growing and is expected to become the third-largest.
It is a technological power, a major supplier of pharmaceuticals, and an increasingly central player in the Indo-Pacific balance.
Trump’s trade whiplash and the Iran war have pushed India away from the US.
This critical relationship is now in peril, argues IGA CEO Mark Hannah.
It can still be corrected. Read the full piece in @newsweek.com.

"Ultimately, it’s up to the US: abandon the ceasefire and attack Iran or tell Israel to abide by the ceasefire or else.”
This map shows vessels near the Strait of Hormuz, waiting to cross as the Iran ceasefire remains uncertain.
Only about 12 ships have passed through the strait since the ceasefire was declared.
That's far fewer than before the war, when 100+ vessels crossed daily.

This map shows the areas of Lebanon that Israel has ordered to evacuate.
Israel has stated that Lebanon will not be included in the US-Iran negotiated ceasefire.
Iran announced today that it would close the Strait of Hormuz until attacks against Lebanon cease.
This map shows how countries across Africa and Asia have curbed energy usage since US-Israeli war against Iran began.
In Sri Lanka and the Philippines, governments have introduced 4-day work weeks for much of the public-sector to conserve energy.
Oil prices remain $100+.
3/ More host countries for US bases can isolate Trump and Netanyahu.
There is a growing opposition to a war that's caused regional humanitarian catastrophe and global economic damage.
Preventing the US government from an illegal war on their soil is the legal, moral, and pragmatic thing to do.
