Lithium iron phosphate batteries, which are the new standard composition, are objectively safer and less prone to thermal runaway than the nickel manganese cobalt batteries used at moss landing. Considering thermal runaway is what caused the whole situation idk how you can “set that aside”
We have tons of long term expertise with these systems. I work in the industry. I’ve written numerous reports to jurisdictions about how the current battery systems differ and are safer than moss landing. Most of what you replied with is either wrong or was addressed years ago
Moss Landing was designed incredibly poorly (some of the batteries were inside of a building) and used older battery tech that’s no longer the standard because it was more susceptible to thermal runaway. Current battery tech is much more stable
