Being a Gen Xer means we grew up with analogue hearts but got old with digital minds. We're the last ones to know the "Before Times" and the first to master the "After." 📟💻
Name one thing you miss about your childhood AND one thing you're envious of kids today?

10,000 days. That’s how long it’s been since Sega manufactured gaming consoles.
The Dreamcast marked the end of an era, but the soul of the 90s arcade lives on. Whether you were Team Mega Drive or Team Dreamcast, the industry lost some "edge" when they stepped out of the ring.
On this day, 13th April 1992, The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past launched on the SNES in the US.
From that iconic rainy opening to the legendary Dark World, it remains the gold standard for 16-bit adventure. 🛡️💎
Is this the best Zelda of all time? Let’s hear it! 👇
I was the only one on the Megazone crew who owned one.

It still oozes a futuristic feel.
On this day, 2nd April 1993, the Mega-CD launched in PAL regions! 💿🇦🇺
Perks of being a Sega Master meant I actually got mine from Sega before the official release date. From FMV to the Sonic CD soundtrack, it was a massive 16-bit leap!
What was your first Mega-CD game? 🎮
This is the best video on the new channel right now!

I’ve launched a new side channel called Outer Spacies, quick vlogs from Sydney and wherever I wander. If I step outside, it goes up. Come along for the ride.
We used to get gamers sending in their own game guides to the Sega Hotline.
I kept this Wonder Boy in Monsterland guide when I left Sega. In 2018 I tracked down the kid who wrote it, and he was blown away that I still had it.
He didn’t want his name shared but wow, what a video that could’ve been.
You could be thinking of this one. The last Game & Watch release (not including the three special releases since then.
1988.
Yeah this was a late entry so they were truly experimenting by this stage
🎶 This is probably the best sounding Game & Watch.
🇨🇳 Just some of the many images I have from China over the years.
(I'm looking to post more random themed photos here as... I have taken LOADS of photos over the years and no one has really seen them)
😺 Cats over the years.
I'm looking at ideas for my return to YouTube. Thoughts?
Now how does one randomly just stumble upon owning this?

The Sega Mega Drive was Hideki Sato’s masterpiece. Before landing on the "dark and moody" console we love, he was prototyping some wild concepts from paddle-style controllers to keyboard add-ons.
It’s fascinating to see the journey from those "out there" ideas to the iconic 16-bit powerhouse.
Chocolates, wine and of course... flowers!

Have you ever gone on a trip just to visit a video game location?
Here's me in Dobuita St, Yokosuka Japan, where Shenmue on the Dreamcast is set.
No stream tonight. Adulting instead. Sigh.
In 2006, Japan was my first big overseas trip—a total "WOW" moment. 🇯🇵 Even after multiple visits, I’m still truly envious of anyone going for their first time. You only get that specific magic once.
I just completed the side story in Like A Dragon called "Forget Me Not". That went way way too sad. I wasn't ready for that.
Finally! Got around to completing Mario Kart Lego build.
People think the Sega Hotline was just kids stuck on bosses. In reality? A huge demographic was bored housewives.
They’d call while the kids were at school to "help their son," then stay on for 20 mins to perfect their own runs.
Did you ever call a video game hotline?
