From December to like, April, my backyard is like a faraway land. Sometimes I get a glimpse of it through a window and it’s like seeing a teacher at a grocery store. You’re familiar but we don’t know each other out of context.

My issue would be id become invested in whatever they’re watching. I’m staying til the end or im forced to ask for a link. Either way the consequences for this is an awkward interaction w/me.

Pretty sure I’m also in that boat. Good company though!

Definitely Hungary, but this is definitely the right era - definitely written in the 40s. Thank you!

Help! My sister & I are positive this book existed, but can find no trace of it. Maybe called A Summer to Remember but it’s likely a translation. It was about a Hungarian girl who, due to poverty, had to flee to Switzerland? Or Austria? The character names were Margitka, Verni, Kathe. HELLPPPP.

I’m looking for an opulent-appearing (not opposed to kitsch) peel and stick wallpaper. Any suggestions?

Nothing is good. Burn it all down now.

If professional was all it took we’d all have Baranski hair! Except for me, I’m decidedly amateur.

No one ever talks about Christine Baranski having the best hair in the business. How does she get all that volume?

If you’re gonna spend $160, I feel like good cheese is an excellent choice.

I’m enthralled! I have to say, I’m a fan of all your stuff and I think this is my fav yet. But I’m also really stupid over Brutal Hearts. Idk. But you’re absolutely killing it on all fronts.

What’s the trick to getting your dog to wear a sweater or little dog coat? My dog goes absolutely feral or refuses to move at all. Also, doesn’t like the cold. Also, doesn’t understand when I explain the concept of the sweater = warm while peeing. No wisdom in those eyes.

What wine will pair best with my bad fucking attitude? (This is rhetorical, the answer is vodka)

Do you outline? If you do outline, how close is your outline to your finished work? Do you find that trying to stick to the outline stifles you when your writing just…starts to curve in a different direction?

….neither did I.

I’m going to watch Hot Frosty, which I swear was some kind of kink euphemism years ago, a la Hot Carl. Anyway. Am I correct in that this is about a sexy snowman? How’d it take this long to get this kinda xmas take?

Do you remember in the old Calgon commercial the lady absolutely loses her shit about the dog? “The laundry, dinner, the kids, THE FUCKING DOG.”
