I think it's a decent rework of the old look, but I wish there was a progression just like the Gorajan Trailblazer outfit. Each armour getting more and more warped. To me Primal should be aged, battered and seething with the warping energies of the environment around it.

Everything was on a nice uphill trend right up until then. All they need to do is add the glowing effects plus that effect from Nomad's soul cape drop would be very cool.

When there are cosmetics that look 10x better than actual best in slot gear, there's a problem.
