Our last day of micro spotlights and we have a triplet of treasures 🦝
We loved @stuartcavet.bsky.social 's take on parasitic behaviour, the surreal nature of this tight micro and how this unexpected parasite contemplates choice.

We have winners! The SmokeLong Grand Micro Contest was a bear this year. So many excellent micros. These are our top 7 and will be published Monday in Issue 90! www.smokelong.com/the-smokelon...
A small sketchbook watercolour drawing of Southampton docks with cranes reaching up into the sky and a few gulls having a break from stealing bags of chips from people.
Just a little sketch from a visit to Southampton in 1998. I wandered around looking for something to draw and settled for a quick seascape of the docks with gulls. A cold wind coming off the water.

A group of yellow-brick houses behind a wall and a curve of hedge with red berries in it. The sky is dark blue cloud, and there is a strong light from the side highlighting parts of the houses' gable ends and television aerials.

Happy Friday!🥳🙌
I'd better go and make sure that my coffee and wine stay away from each other.🤭☕️🍷
