Wnt/Ror2 signaling stabilizes basal epithelial identity. Using lineage tracing, we show that Ror2 loss disrupts mechanotransduction (RhoA-ROCK1-YAP1) and chromatin accessibility, driving a basal-to-luminal transition in the mammary gland.
