What a magical place and a beautiful photo.
A red barn with a stained white roof sits on the edge of field with pine trees in the background.
Another old little barn. I’m trying to capture images of as many as I can before they’re all gone. This one is west of Mount Vernon Iowa USA. Shot with iPhone 17 Pro.
Love the contrast between the red rocks and the blue sky.

A desert pig is in the foreground with bushes in the background.
A happy javelina in suburban Phoenix. Taken December 2025.
Various smooth, rounded stones of various shades of reddish brown. There are three spiders stretching out on the side of the rocks facing the sun.
Porcupine Mountains State Park , Michigan USA. The shore is covered with smooth rocks instead of sand and these spiders enjoyed the warmth of the morning sun.
That’s a really great capture!
Seychelles beach on Ikaria, Greece. A large multi-toned rock sits on a rocky beach at the Aegean Sea’s edge. Brown rocky mountains rise behind the rock. The beach was created by a rockslide and is accessible only via boat or a treacherous hike.

Sitting Hen
Monument Valley
Utah
If you are visiting Monument Valley, you can easily spot the Setting Hen as you drive toward the park entrance on US-163; it stands as one of the sentinel-like guardians of the valley's northern gateway.

Remembering our Lake Superior Circle Tour last fall. We tried to visit the Agawa Pictographs but the water was too high. Canada is beautiful.
