Love seeing the beautiful butterfly at #Tau2025 where 1000+ scientists and clinicians are gathering to share ideas to accelerate biomedical discoveries.
Here is a starter pack to quickly follow TAUrrific researchers. Let me know if I need to add anybody

My wonderful collaborator, Tim Yu, has a Research Assistant opening in his lab. I highly recommend it!
As a scientist who primarily focuses on non-amyloid aspects of Alzheimer's disease, I could not agree more with Dennis Selkoe's take here
Good to see a rapid (temporary) legal ruling here
While on clinical service recently, I saw many children who were severely ill due to cancer, flu, and other causes. Sadly this move will mean that healthcare access for many children will be lost, as our institutions suffer from the loss of this critical support:

Is this for real? All NIH indirect costs cut to 15%. This would threaten most medical schools and academic hospitals across the US.

My first science post here on BlueSky is a long one. Setting the contrarian tone from the very beginning, I take strong issue with the recent op-ed by Charles Piller published in the January 24th NY Times on #Alzheimer's disease (nam12.safelinks.protection.outlook.com?url=https%3A...)
Important thread- I agree!
With so many great tau researchers like @leatgrinberg.bsky.social @lucbuee.bsky.social @sjorsscheres.bsky.social @selinawray.bsky.social @karchlab.bsky.social on #SciSky could not help but put together my 1st starterpack⤵️
We are all fighting for you @curemaptftd.bsky.social 💙

I wrote about the National Institutes of Health and the various serious and unserious proposals for NIH reform that have been floating around. It is important to understand how this agency actually functions and point criticism at the right problems. A short 🧵:
just joined Bluesky and happy to join!
I'm traveling to Mayo-Jacksonville today to share our research and meet with colleagues @DrNeuroChic, @dennis_w_d, and more! Looking forward to great discussions on tau, neurodegeneration, and more!
I've finally set up a @bsky.app profile! I hear that this is a great community, with many vibes similar to the original science twitter. Can't wait to connect with you and learn together!
