This is how dumb he is, trying to deflect from criticism on comments HE made as Communications Minister by claiming sexism

Listening to a British MP state 'Iran has put the prices up everywhere' and it ignores the basic fact it was the US that did this. I get he may have meant the conflict itself, but we shouldn't shy away from calling out who is ultimately at fault.

Nice that people are searching the 1926 census records, my wife's family are digging through and unearthing relatives they never knew about. After 1922 all my crowd were in NI, bar some family in Kildare, but my Granddad had moved up North during the War of Independence, and had fallen out with them

The Pitt is a very good show. High octane, fast-paced. The ~ hour long episodes blitz by. Don't even really have time to doomscroll my eyes are glued to it

No wonder this app is dying, people being civil on here. Sheesh.

I've tanked apps by not ticking the right checkbox. Could literally be anything, so we'll never know anyways.

There could be a myriad of legitimate enough reasons for a kid missing days, could be childcare issues etc.

Reminds me of my CS class, had a high non-attendance %, and the course head came in one day to shout at us, but stopped after we pointed out we were the ones here all the time 🤨

This week was "Wear your clothes backwards", there was "Crazy Hair" and the thing is, my kids want to do this stuff. I just don't see it positively impacting attendance. Myself and my wife have already joked about not sending them in on Wednesdays to avoid it.

My kids school has seen attendance drop on Wednesdays, unsure if this is a nationwide occurrence. But to entice people back they've brought in "Wacky Wednesday", and honestly, I'm not sure how this gets people back into school, having to prepare for yet another thing...

The funniest gotcha attempt was when he was complaining about the Ireland that has been lost and he was questioned about living in Germany for nearly the last 20 years, and his answer was "airplanes" or something like that 🤣

Miriam Lord on the Healy Rae’s and MHR departure from Government 😂
“Sure they were going since the day they came in,” shrugged a Government backbencher in the aftermath, before waspishly adding: “They said they would support the Government through thick and thin – now thick and thin have departed.”

The Internet is both a technical achievement and also a curse, for what it has done to many many people.

I've had access to it in some form for almost about 28 years, and how my head hasn't been thoroughly melted, I'll never know.
