- asking myself "what do you need rn/how can i love you" and then doing that
- movement practices, yoga, qigong
- regular massages
- time with friends who have more capacity and self love/acceptance than me. particularly ppl w more life experience

ick :(

really strange sense of ick when navigating the world today - causing a desire to want to revert to being a kid. Uncommon emotions, for sure.

Outside of external circumstances, I think there is a part that dislikes how current social status quo works, and want to work towards something different.

a lot of social ills come down to an assumption of malice on the part of anyone doing anything you don’t love

Have not mentioned on BSky before, but I run a weekly bring-your-own-project reading and writing group at East Williamsburg in Brooklyn! Feel free to stop by if folks are in the area :)

mornings can be correspondingly bad but it's surprisingly manageable. The nice thing about being happy at night is that you don't have to manage it at all, you just... have an insanely good time for absolutely no reason

one of the reasons it's so hard for me to keep a normal schedule is that I become insanely happy whenever it gets to 2am. It's like the very air turns from sulfur to moonshine around then

Met an 85 year-old Japanese lady at Japan Fes today who goes by the motto "live every day like it's you last". When she parts with people she says "see you next year if I'm still alive then!!" Honestly, kind of a mood and a legend

Incredible writing in Vinland Saga S2 so far. It's rare to find a show that's both chilling and makes you self-reflect to the extent that it does. Will be thinking about this most recent episode for a long time to come.
