EARTH DAY REAL HOPE. REAL CHANGE. Green Party Promoted by Chris Williams on behalf of The Green Party, both at PO Box 78066, London SE16 9GQ
Good news on Earth Day: 99% of growth in global electricity demand last year was met by solar and wind.
We'll keep fighting the vested interests of the fossil fuel industry and their efforts to spread climate denial to protect their profits.
For people and planet.
It's time to take the fight to Palantir.

A new historical map of Hertford will be published in 2027, supported by Hertford Town Council & the Univ of Hertfordshire. Creating something so detailed and historically accurate takes time, effort & money. The developers are still fundraising. If you can help them please see the poster…
Your 'moment of doom' for Apr. 16, 2026 ~ a hard wind
"... we now need a 'Category 6' rating for hurricanes with winds of 193 mph (311 km/h) or greater, because global warming is expected to cause significant increases in maximum potential intensity."

Delighted that a new tree has been planted in Old Cross but particularly pleased that Herts County Council have repaired, repainted and replaced the metal seat which is such an important feature on this corner. Thanks to cllr Rachel Carter for testing it! Please try it if you’re passing! 💚

With cllrs Steven Watson, Kirsty Taylor-Moran and Rachel Carter, fellow Greens on Hertfordshire County Council, out with the Highways team to see them working hard repairing potholes in Hertford. Thanks to the council officers and to the Ringway team 👍
Good to see the Highways team putting up car park cameras as part of the new Green-led Town and District council joint project for a new Variable Messaging System that shows drivers where they can find parking spaces in Hertford’s car parks.
Really proud of our brilliant team of council officers who have worked so hard to secure this massive investment in the town 🙂

Hertford Green-led town council is investing to improve our town not only with the Castle Grounds regeneration project, but also by renovating the historic Seed Warehouse & by continued funding of our own Hertford Museum (which would struggle without council support) & that’s just for starters! 💚💚
Green-led Hertford Town Council bringing huge improvements to the historic castle, protecting heritage, improving accessibility, revamping the play area, boosting nature.

Sele residents asked for Footpath 94 to be cleared. Mud on the path was a problem for pushing buggies. Fly tipping and litter were a health risk for children walking to Hertford St Andrew's.
Green councillor Rachel Carter @cllrrachelcarter.bsky.social got the path restored. Looks much better now!
