I grew up playing games on Newgrounds, Albinoblacksheep, Thebluething, Kongregate, etc. and most notably my favorite ones were sim dates. The Macromedia Flash color swatch gradients, vector shading with those limited browser-friendly colors.. its so nostalgic to me. Same with the awkward growing-pain not-quite-there-yet ugly phase that budget anime had.
