Honestly? I find Alys being a two-handed hammer tank as a self-fulfilling fetish. They just wanna be queer in a BIG way. 😈

WHM made me so happy in that regard. That was the closest I got to feeling like a decent healer. I was a dedicated healer in WoW and other MMO’s to that point.

Which is so funny, because as a first responder and retired medical professional, I have ZERO fear of asserting myself when it’s needed.

I feel much the same way, save as a healer. I’ve yet to venture into party finder as a healer, and I’m so, SO AFRAID of screwing up. 😭

I am going thru something of an existential crisis in FFXIV. I love WHM, but also adore WAR, and yet still cherish SMN.

The closest I can get to that is WAR, which I finished leveling up recently. Gotta say… I do love that class.

One of the biggest things I wish FFXIV had that GW2 does is a 2-handed hammer knight/guardian. Straightforward, to the point and simplistic almost to a fault.

For extra comedic effect, Alys themself would be such a hammer knight. Little transfemme with an oversized hammer is such a lovely thing. ☺️

But they themself adore being caught in the machinations of intelligent and well-endowed men. It’s a bit of a perceived dichotomy until you realize that “Alys lurvez teh ghey.” 😁
