Again, you have absolutely nothing to lose on first disputes. And if they don't specifically respond by turning it down within 30 days, you'll get it released.
I have had over 100, and only ~10% didn't get released after my first challenge. Always try it.
Not the first dispute. First dispute even if they fight back is just "they rejected your claim. now what do you want to do"
The system is fucked, but you should always dispute once no matter what
I had 0 expectations for Pokemon Champions, and it's somehow even more barebones than I thought it would be.
It's a shame, because I'd absolutely love a battle centered Pokemon game to compliment the games that focus on other things. But damn, it just ain't it at all
We should run manipless!!
ASM2026 submissions Still open until end of Monday 6th April (ACST) If you are interested in speedrunning live in person in Adelaide (14-19 July), we want you!
If you haven't submitted yet for ASM2026, don't worry you've still got a week.
(Submission form and more event info on our website)
Good luck!
Achieved the most satisfying, and arguably the best Pokemon Stadium run. Managed to save nearly 4 hours off the record, and just get the record to under 16 hours!
I don't see this one getting beaten for a long, long time www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vs4R...
Happy Heracross Day to all!
Finished Octopath 0. Another 10/10 game.
No other series has ever given me 3 elite games in a row, let alone from its first three entries. By far my favourite game series in the modern era.
So happy these games have existed given others have disappointed over the same period.
The time is upon is. That's right, it's your yearly reminder www.youtube.com/watch?v=oFGL...
Schedule is now LIVE!

Find us on the ground floor outside the theatres (just past handheld and jackbox) and enjoy a break with us when you need it
My 'get fucked by Red in every single game' era still in full swing
There also seems to be this weird barrier between 'speedrunners' and others.
Like so many people have this thought process of "you have to play at this super high level to be a speedrunner and I could never do that"
I still think that barrier is as big as it's ever been.
I think it would encourage more people to do and submit runs that otherwise wouldn't. Would love to see more games filled with submissions of varying skill levels.
And also for existing runners to learn other games (i.e. get expert achievement in a bunch of games would be fun)
Would love it if SRC had an achievement system for different levels to encourage runners below WR level
Simple start, having 'beginner/intermediate/expert' time thresholds created by moderators, and get an achievement on your profile for getting below them.
Enough people said they wanted to see the final slide deck, so I took the time to put it on my non-teacher github so I could share it. I didn't end up getting in trouble. I ended up being encouraged by a colleague to share it with my dept chair, and he liked it

This one did actually genuinely hurt me though, so I'm thankful for the amazing group of people we have at ASM, that really helped me not get dragged down too low.
Much love to you all, the real ones ❤️
Thankfully, the community around ASM is amazing and all of this kind of rubbish is reserved for people online who have never met me.
I think anyone who has met me or spent any amount of time with me would know the 'narrative' some of these people create about me couldn't be further from the truth.
I can't say whether this is coming from someone trying to be the good guy calling out the bad eggs, or whether it's just trying to tear someone down. I legitimately don't know.
What I do know, is that in this instance, you are the bad guy. One where I hope you re-evaluate, because it's *really* bad
I get I'm not everyone's favourite person, but the amount of total bullshit that gets made up by folks online is crazy.
I can't call it all out, but when you start twisting some of the worst shit that's ever been done to me as if *I'm* unacceptable as a result, you are being so hateful it's fucked.
For transparency, everyone at this point knows the first happened - and then as soon as I was told that wasn't ok regardless of the fact that it wasn't my own words and that I was reading a comment, I apologised and never did so again.
This is how we learn, you simply must allow people to learn.
This is without going into the tirade of shit I dealt with after someone tried to deliberately tear me down with entirely false stories, stories that I took months of painstaking effort to prove to be entire fiction, with extra effort to not attack their character.
Oh I'm the bad guy there too?
I've ummed and ahhed about whether I should call this out or not, but this absolutely crosses the line of where I have to stand up for myself.
Imagine escaping from an abusive family, and folks online using that as some sort of justification for you unsuitable for giving back to your community.
Don't remember the last time I simply didn't want the event to end..
ASM 2025 goes in S tier out of all the events I've been to. Unforgettable week, the people here are just incredible
