So true. Unfortunately the people who use pain / fear don't see/recognize fear or discomfort nor do they understand/believe prong n shock collars cause pain /fear /discomfort so, double whammy of ignorance.

Yeah, I commented before watching the vid....so yeah, it's not the cue so much as memory/history of being cruelly "tricked"/lied to.

Did ya' change the cue? Maybe 'sit' is a spoiled cue due to the past punishment?

I would really love if all trainers and behavior specialist would use the same phrases when it comes to those collars.

Sooooo I've learned a while ago that facts, studies and proof/evidence isn't enough or ..sumptin' for prong n' shock collar "trainers" to see /accept the reality of harm and long term damage those tools do. Dog's amazing sense of smell not only is connected to "smell" regions of their brains but, also to the visual/memory part near the back of the brain! Ie: smells are also "visual" to Dogs! I'm sure I could word that better but, AMAZING!

One more of these stoopid, outdated and dangerous reactivity inducing uneducated "trainers" tools/crutch" off a Dog and out of circulation! Got her in a harness and *ding* instantly calmer and attentive. F prong n shock collars! DOGS DESERVE BETTER! #banprongcollars #ForcefreeDogtraining
