We have been learning about our ‘Circle of Control’. We have discussed the things in life that we have control over, and the things that we can’t control. Going forward, we understand the importance of focussing on the things in life that we CAN control. Excellent discussions 👍🏼🙂 P7r16.

Fab day at Fun Day! After a live lesson with @connectedfalk.bsky.social last year using AR Makr, some P7s created a digital hunt for characters around the hall, while others shared their Scratch games. Just a small but fun part of the day!

Are you in control? P7r16 have studied the ‘Circle of Control’. We worked in our groups to discuss and decide what we can and cannot control. We placed the aspects we can control on the inside of the circle, and the things out with our control on the outside. Excellent discussion P7! 👍🏼😀

Can you spot when data is perhaps a little misleading? P7r16 have studied what to look out for as sometimes data shared by the media isn’t always as it seems! 🧐 We studied various graphs and spotted several misleading elements. We noticed suggestive titles, truncated scales and much more! 📊 📈

We hosted a reading event in our classroom. This involved reading to the younger children in P1, P2 and P3. We had several books to choose from and even had books in Urdu, Polish, Nepalese and other languages which supported the children with English as a second language. 😀 📕 👍🏼

Recently, we have visited all of the classrooms to share information about SCIAF. We have worked incredibly hard to organise and deliver our fund raising events and would like to thank everyone for their support so far! 😀👍🏼

We have begun our Confirmation preparation. After hearing the story of the Passover and how the apostles spoke different languages through the Holy Spirit, we used the Translate tool on our iPads to translate “The Wonders of God” and made stained glass windows of its symbols. 🕊️🔥💨💧🙏

Thank you to everyone who supported our @sciaf.bsky.social coffee morning! I think you will all agree our P7s were excellent and a great time was had by all. We don’t have a final total yet but last count was over £600!
