This is the first year that Eskenazi Health has been awarded operational funds, according to Eskenazi Health Foundation President & CEO Angela White. White says the foundation's latest strategic plan added language supporting community partners.
Julie White, HHC Vice President of Long Term Care, talked of additional responsibilities that began this year.
Indianapolis Emergency Medical Services Chief Daniel O'Donnell said unnecessary emergency calls had been reduced. O'Donnell also said staff would soon be participating in an escape-room training exercise.

The meeting began with an opening prayer shortly before 2:00 p.m. and was called to order on time, followed by roll call.
About 15 people sit in the audience area behind a yellow "Caution" tape line. Beyond the line, the board and related corporation staff sit at three tables in a U shape open to the audience.
The meeting is scheduled to start at 2 p.m. in the Faegre Drinker Conference Room.
