I retired 18'ish months ago and can't recommend it highly enough. Best advice I got just prior was to gradually dissasociate from my work persona.

Plan for it and get out as soon as you can. Work was good but retired life is way better. Example: # of video calls/meetings in 2024? <10. 😎
