In L.A. on Sunday, a celebration of the 120th birthday of Isamu Noguchi (1904-1988), one of modern art's greatest sculptors and a native of the city. A Buddhist priest blessed a massive Noguchi sculpture — in a plaza Noguchi designed for the Japanese American Cultural & Community Center.
