The Royals cost each UK taxpayer £1.29 a year. And for that we get all the glitter of a head of state dumped on the Royals leaving our politicians free to get on with the job. Charities also benefit from their patronage snd support. Not to mention drawing in tourists. A bargain.

Trump is stretching the US navy to its limit; first it has to blockade the Strait of Hormuz and now it has to capture the Holy See...

We must make sure no one forgets this.

Sadly your President is a deranged toddler with enormous power. If our (constitutional) King is seen to snub him, he'll no doubt release the hounds of Hell against thd UK and no one in the USA will stop him. Our King has to suffer the nightmarish visit to save the UK from Trumpian wrath.

Had a Dyson when they firat came out. It was undoubtedly brilliant. The later replacements were useless. Will never buy a Dyson again.

Scotland receives an extra £1,200 per person in NHS provision compared to the UK average - something the SNP never seems to mention.

Empress Matilda, ignored by history but briefly an English queen in her own right, not just a consort. A truly amazing woman.

Please don't forget that the Liberal Democrats consistently and persistently campaigned against Leave and now advocate rejoining the EU.

King George V's son Prince George fought & died on active service in WW2, Andrew, son of Queen Elizabeth fought in the Falkland war, Prince Harry fought on behalf of the USA as part of NATO forces in Afghanistan- if Trump wants to be a king there's a precedent for Barron fighting in Iran.

This is essential reading. It makes clear that the Conservative government had left the NHS in a precarious position by starving it of funding and that its inept handling of the pandemic almost saw it collapse completely

Get Trump & co to destroy NATO so US is isolated = Russia's long game to get back Alaska - return to the glories of the Russian empire, plus extend access to most of the Arctic with its vaste untapped minerals.

Worse is his determination to get rid of renewable sources of energy and make the UK heavily dependent on foreign oil and gas. If this war is showing us anything, it is that we have to develope our renewable energy supplies and become independent in terms of fuel as quickly as possible.

And of course he's done Putin's bidding by lifting Russian oil sanctions - Russian coffers are filling up.

Any doubt that the US is now a satellite state of Russia is dispelled. Start a war that means the world is short of oil. Claim as a consequence we have to lift sanctions from Russian oil - at a time when oil prices are high. Russian coffers start filling.

That's the God of the Old Testament. Jesus showed a new way. Try reading the New Testament especially the Four Gospels and see if you can see a similarity between Trump and Christ.

OFCOM seem to be similar to OFWAT. A regulator that doesn't seem willing or able regulate.

It's useful for some MPs to have additional employment eg doctors & nurses doing enough clinical work to maintain their registration, in case they only serve 4 years. However the 2nd jobs should be time restricted.

Pseudo Christians. The two basic Christian tenets are (1) love creation (the Creator) - not blow it to smithereens. (2) love other people especially the vulnerable - not attack them. People can call themselves what they like, but it is their attitudes & actions that define them.

What a stupid comment. Starmer has to defend UK interests. We know how vindictive Trump is so Starmer is walking a desperately difficult tight rope between trying to ensure Trump doesn't inflict major damage on UK interests while keeping the UK out of an illegal war, & protecting UK citizens.

Why? We know that Trump wreaks vengeance on anyone who thwarts him, so it's perfectly legitimate for a Prime Minister to 'consider' Trump's request to give him time to work out what tactic will be least damaging to the UK, while complying with international law.

I'm not Labour (belong to another Party) but I respect Starmer, and although I'm passionate about the environment I don't trust the leader of the Green Party.

Says who? Starmer is a decent man constantly belittled and demonised by the right wing media, BBC, Greens, Reform and Scottish Nationalists. He's having to deal with 14 years of Tory corruption and mess, and that will take time.

If it’s true Reform UK’s Treasury spokesperson Robert Jenrick told a business audience last night that renewable companies are "screwed" if Reform get in, it tells you everything about their readiness to inflict national self-harm in pursuit of ideological war on climate action.

When the UK is involved in a war, members of the Royal Family in the Services have to serve, others volunteer eg Prince George an Air Commander (killed in WW2), Andrew a helicopter pilot in the Falklands War, and Harry served in Afghanistan. Plenty of precedents for Trump & Netanyahu.
