I would imagine when selling cars to a possible customer, having them clean is a good practice before said customer goes for a test drive. Apparently not.

Be still my beating heart!!
Don’t mind me, I’m just cosplaying as a bubble of nitrogen in a pint.
Is Dalkey the only town in Ireland that had two pubs, one with King and one with Queen in the name?
Good stock rotation and clean lines, clean lines, clean lines!
Trying to find the right categorization to group boxes under is the biggest challenge. Year? Style? Country? Theme?
Box of various Guinness glasses stored upside down.
Mrs Foxy is away for a few days, so naturally I’m doing what any man with a free house would do in such a situation.
Sorting and categorizing my Guinness glass collection.
Not the result we wanted, however this was my first visit to The Rathgar 108 since their refurb and it absolutely won’t be the last. So that’s a win!
The adidas subreddit might be my new favourite thing. Not so much for my wallet.
I really should hang out over here much more than I do. Much more pleasant.
These people have absolutely, 100%, no doubt, murdered Mr Topsy Turvy.
Ah I’ll give benefit of the doubt, could be the lads first night and it was busy. But it was unexpected!
An overfill on the traditional Guinness two part pour
The two part pour is a thing I’ll absolutely defend to my death, but take a look at the first pour I got tonight. And I’m in Dublin!
I am, as the kids say, shook.
It’s an absolute stunner. I’m a fan of European chunky in general, but theres something about that harp too!

Bro in law came back from Amerikay with some decent goods…
I now own a Helly Hansen jacket. My transition in to Southside Suburban dad is pretty much complete.
The red and gold monogrammed carpet at Kehoe’s, Dublin.
You have to respect a pub that has its own monogrammed carpet.
A proper half pint!
Betwixtmas pints > Xmas pints
I wasn’t in any of the ones I went past so can’t speak for their interior. I do agree punters don’t really care but you can definitely do a modern take with trad materials - which can be done very well, eg Dead Rabbit or the Dubliner in Boston. Not pretending to be old but also embracing a style.
No hate here, starting a business is hard as hell. The names and est’ds just seem a bit Oirish when it probably doesn’t need it. Never a fan of the white couch interior so if it’s going back to traditional that’s no bad thing!
Strolling around Dublin and just noticing the “Irish pub-ification” renaming of already existing pubs. Not to mention the “est” dates. Weirdly most aren’t even in touristy hotspots 🤷🏻♂️
I believe you to be correct! Gotta love a nice chunky continental effort.
Bottle and glass of Guinness Special Export
And now for the best Guinness you’ve never heard of*
*you possibly have heard of this. If not, it’s 8% and brewed in Dublin for export to Belgium.
Santa is nothing if not on brand in this house.
The “pints outside Dame Tavern” stage of December is upon us.
115 charges but a bad pint ain’t one. Solid effort at the Etihad.
