A reminder that much of KT's monetary success comes from financial asset/investment management, all helmed by Kou Shibusawa's wife, Keiko Erikawa.
Automaton's previous report noted a community adage calling KT "an investment company disguised as a game company.": automaton-media.com/en/news/koei...

its just so. aesthetically pleasing.
atmosphere nigh unmatched
I was hoping this would be excellent, and I wanted another interesting and thought out time travel game to put alongside my other high school favourites, 999 and Steins;Gate.
Hopes were too high, game was disappointing.
Opinion has softened since, but it never ultimately hit my notes.
This is one of the best ones.
Child Soldiers, characters that just kind of suck or use each other, the main villain is a witch taking over the soul of a woman who tried to do the right thing.
Squall's misery is palpable and I get it.
Shockingly compelling in terms of narrative for what is essentially a tournament arc.
Seeking out the true identities of servants is very cool and you need to be unspoiled. Alt path adds some very needed sauce.
Amazing combat animations can only do so much for rock paper scissors though
Ascended Heroes was hard to find, Mega Evolution was easier to get, Phantasmal Flames and Perfect Order are very easy to get.
It's pretty much how like shrouded fable stuck out as a smaller set and was easier to get
it's really interesting to see the effect of the pokemon tcg switch over to small sets with fewer chase cards of popular pokemon, despite Phantasmal Flames and Chaos Rising still being headlined by Charizard and Greninja
You get easy to circumvent laws and then you suddenly get 'dont get stolen from' on a level full of thieves
When you hit the endgame enemy party with the level 3 dark on your dark absorb party
Doesn't feel great that almost every writer I know is struggling for work, and as such we all sorta know we're competing for smaller and smaller slices of the same pie.
interaction bait so i can write words and feel smart
Okay, this isn't a live-service game.
It's a small, $15 regular 5v5 multiplayer game. The only DLC is a $5 'supporter pack' that gives every character one more skin and the soundtrack.
It's exactly what people have been demanding because they HATE live-service games. And then gets punished as one!
BAFTA pulling a trailer for an autobiographical game about surviving sexual assault only hours before it was said to be a part of a showcase is an exceptionally bad look.
We hit the floor at PAX East 2026 and talked directly with indie developers about what they’re building next.
From Mina the Hollower to Fractured Bloom to Rain98 to a ton of standout indie projects, there’s a lot to keep an eye on 👀Please share!

Okay so she's sixteen and it's 1999 and I like to think Luluka played Persona (*possibly* Persona 2 Innocent Sin depending on how far into the year this is) and she got really into tarot cards and Jungian Shadows.

Luluka, completely stonefaced: This is awesome.
It's kinda crazy how pervasive "self-insert video game characters will always be guys, never girls" is like fucking Etrian Odyssey Untold does this too.
To Etrian Odyssey of all things.
It's not.
Many of the reiwa mid-season forms are two parters, where Toy works with Another, or has a seperate mode.
Like Assault/Shining Hopper, Primitive/Elemental Dragon, Boost MKII/Lazer boost, etc.
Final form will be a new toy entirely.
StH1 was genuinely kind of sucky and im still very surprised that it got two sequels and theyve steadily improved.
Jim Carey is carrying that first movie.
It is the best big budget live action title out of these imo
forgot to post champions team!
Made it!

Oh right that reminds me that I forgot to post this redraw of Gale from Digital Devil Saga. It was for an event so I had to wait a bit, but here he is. #ASCIIart

Why do you need an externally ported checklist system?
Is it not fun enough to engage with a game for the experience itself?
Is the satisfaction of beating a boss simply not enough, that you also need a computer to pop up and call you a clever girl too?
Simply finish when you think you're done.
