@gwr.com I just love the assurance of having a seat reservation and the comfort of travelling my train.
No really, it’s absolutely great stuff.

Oh my god the chaos with Ed Miliband tweet was 10 years ago today.
Sincere apologies to anyone attending the @uwebristolofficial.bsky.social open day today who was planning to speak to me about the MSC Public Health programme! Sadly I have torn my calf muscle and can’t attend. Please get in touch and I will be happy to arrange a call next week!
I’ve just subscribed. Will you?
Lovely to speak to lots of potential students at the @uwebristolofficial.bsky.social Science Futures Fair today!
Welcome to the new dystopia. #Trump #PublicHealth
My thoughts exactly! Critical thinking is an essential human skill, and we are going to lose it.
Ok, well that was the longest week ever! It’s a good job it’s Friday and now I get to spend the weekend… *checks notes* …TILING THE KITCHEN FLOOR
First day back in the office today following a really challenging couple of weeks on a personal level, and on my desk I find a bottle of wine, a packet of Flipz, some biscuits and a little note. Such a lovely surprise and it made my day!
Also Flipz should be illegal IMO - they are too delicious.

This poor young man - what a ridiculous state of affairs. I really feel for him and his family and hope for his speedy release. Let’s hope some people see sense very soon…
As I face up to the reality of returning to work on Monday and ponder how on earth I will get up before 11am, this post (stolen from Instagram) feels appropriate.
Let me frolic!
The Christmas Perineum, obviously!

Stargazing in the Forest of Dean last night - Jupiter is the bright light in the first pic, Mars is the one in the second pic. It’s still a beautiful world kids ⭐️ 🪐
We’ve escaped to the Forest of Dean for a couple of nights and visited the wonderful Severn and Wye Smokery en route. This was a ‘small plate’ of mussels 😍
Highly recommend if you’re passing - the scallops were also amazing 🤩

This is the person of the year.
What are we fighting for? A society where everyone feels seen, heard and valued.
We’re working to create a place where all of us – communities, councils, companies, charities and change makers – join forces in making #loneliness a stranger.

Hi! 👋🏼
FUN FACT: Measles, polio, diphtheria, mumps, rubella and tetanus are six once-common illnesses that vaccines have contained for decades, saving many millions of lives.
Every time I look at @niallharbison.bsky.social posts I just feel like handing in my notice and going to live in Thailand to spend the rest of my days rescuing street dogs. I’m sure it’s not easy, but he makes it look like an absolute dream. Sigh. X

Lovely meal at Indian Rassasy in Bristol last night! Absolutely delicious, definitely recommend to all the curry lovers out there.
I cannot fathom how this has been allowed to happen in an apparent ‘land of the free’
Really enjoyed this Kate, thank you 😊
