It's actually is a really enjoyable game. Very monopoly like but feels fairer. Would play again. 7/10

I have a hunch modernised version would work really well today. As many people are interested and educated in finance these days.

Bought this ancient german board game from 1991. Were try to be the richest player trading german company stocks. The rules talk about taxes, options, dividends, yield, revenue. Haven't spotted leverage yet.

Not sure if it's a WSB or german tax simulator. Going to find out this weekend.

I find the SVG version of the bigyear.vercel.app/ to be pretty fun to use on collaborative digital drawing boards.

I added it as a second download option. You can just drag and drop the file the canvas of any app.

TIL, home printers can do 1200 DPI. However, AirPrint does just 600/300. If you want your prints to look your best use a cable and install a the official driver.

AirPrint / Cable+Driver comparison. It complained about empty toner before I did a 1200 print. Classic printer story.

Once exported as SVG the calendar can be easily added to a
@excalidraw.com board, pretty neat.

Had a great running year! Most of the kilometers in Barefoot shoes. Almost 300km more than my previous best year. I hope I can keep it up!

Bicycle kms this year are the lowest so far. But it looks like next year will be a big bicycle year again.

Crushed my reading challenge this year. A total of 23 books up from 13 books last year.
Enjoyed reading during the first hour of my mornings and with a cup of coffee after breakfast.

Drafting how to turn my childhood home into a little emblem for a christmas present. I dig the style but it needs way more refinement. But could work. Not sure if I have enough time to craft a decent v1.

Finished 1984 yesterday morning. Today picking up this more modern and recently revised book by @qntm.org, 'There Is No Antimemetics Division'.
Enjoyed only his short stories so far. Only two chapters in so far but it is mind tingling and fresh.

For now settling on this card style. Show varies degrees of missing data to be filled out in print.

Been searching for ever for a open source family tree visualisation which does not suck. They are all so ugly. Using gramps web now but the trees generated are so limiting and ugly. Now vibing something with works for me with react-flow so I have full control. Not final yet, just exploring.

I find this style of print out calendars to layout personal key events for the next year far superior to any digital solution.

Always struggled setting up this project from scratch. Took 11 years to get something which feels right. Now using `uv` for dependency management.

Cherry on top, it is now finally distributed via homebrew:

```
brew tap peetzweg/tap
brew install papr
```

What if the actual paperclip maximizers we should fear are we humans. Some are more successful, outcompeting the rest. Making the present and future rest obsolete.

With all the health and lifestyle advice on here, like creatine dosages, sleeping tips, using shampoo or not, how to breath.

All gets lost eventually. To me it feels there should be a open source guide for operating the human being.

Usually I'd be using ink but wanted to know what the fuss is about, opentui by @kmdrfx.bsky.social .
Still missing a proper documentation but the examples get you there. Straight forward to use with react.

Created my personal @obsidian.md plugin as we are now living in a time were it is faster and easier to just vibe code your use case into a plugin than fiddling around configuring and orchestrating someone else's.

Observing particles in my bedroom for a month now.
Confused rn why my particles across all sizes noticeably rise and fall during the night.

Have a hunch it is the flats heating. Any guesses?

As a proof of concept I made my breathing app work offline. You only need to visit it once online, it will then cache itself for the next visit, even if offline.
Very straight forward to do for client side apps.
