Acting like he's untouchable too. Pride cometh before the fall.

I still remember his "iran needs mao zedong thought" post on Bluesky.

Even taking the current war out of the equation, Iran needs a real democracy, not Mao Zedong.

He's a tankie. This isn't a new thing, it's just that he's leveraged his edgy tankie views into a big media presence. He's just an authoritarian loving tankie.

Yeah and he believes the US is also a uniquely evil country in world history. So he basically believes in an inverse version of American exceptionalism.

Seriously, a lot of Rome's imperial crimes would make even modern Republicans feel dirty!

Rome actively eradicated an entire nation, then replaced it with a Roman colony called Romania.

The US has done a lot of wrong, but they're not unique in that regard.

Good example that Hasan Piker is both just genuinely ignorant and also a campist, which works to amplify and deepen the aforementioned ignorance

As a Chinese-American, I have gagged whenever he cosplays as Chinese. Fucker went to a streamer awards dressed as Mao.

Mr. "Iran needs Mao Zedong thought" in action, it seems.

From ten years ago. And now they’re endorsing a billionaire.

I think the CA primary is weird too. I think a "jungle primary" is a lousy way to pick the top two candidates.

We shouldn't just have to accept the fact that gas and heating oil prices will remain high for the next year.

The President is waging a reckless war — with Susan Collins' stamp of approval — and Maine people are facing skyrocketing costs as a result.

Honestly imagine what he could have done if he had a real majority

Biden really showed me why experience matters.

I'm in this boat. Was against Biden in the primary, viewed him as a stick in the mud. The level of miracles he was able to make happen turned me into more of an optimist about how government can work and how the Democrats can govern. Even now that has not changed.

Yeah I was ride or die for Harris in 2020 but Biden really persuaded me.

And I still refuse to engage with the lame gossip rag attempts to turn Biden supporters and Harris supporters against each other because of what went down. He was a great POTUS, she was a great VP, we lost so much.

That will hopefully be regained, the main reason I'm pulling for her in 28

The amount he managed to get done with the literal 50-50 Senate was nothing short of remarkable, and folks managed to turn that into a disaster of will and proof Biden and Dems didn't want good things, and I still feel like flipping tables over that shit.

I remember being absolutely disheartened that I had to choose between Biden and Sanders by the time Washington held its primary. I voted for Biden just because I thought it was important that Sanders lose decisively to avoid a repeat of 2016.

I agree & Biden's real-world success points to value in having someone who understands how the levers of DC work; which he did better than anyone since LBJ- but also you can accomplish a fuckton of legitimate stuff but the ADHD corporo-media will do their absolute best to ignore it because 'boring!'

I will say also, while I agree he was way more successful than a lot of people give him credit for, his foot dragging on federal cannabis reform- what shouldve been a slam dunk easy win, broadly popular across the board; did confirm a few of the reasons I was initially hesitant in the 2020 primaries

That drives me extra nuts because the post election drop off was huge (echoes of Obama), when we needed to keep pushing Republicans on their bullshit and playing offense.

We need to keep going & recognize that elected Dems can be pushed but take constant pushing, & the GOP must be destroyed

a. is he saying he was told oil is going to $300/bbl
b. It’s wild that he genuinely does believe “it can only could happen”
