By the way, if you think about it, Knockturn Alley's name is rather punny: it sounds like "nocturnally".
A rather appropriate name for a place that "seems to be made up entirely of shops devoted to the Dark Arts"!
Draco being jealous of Hermione's exam scores, it seems?
Also, that hand of glory that Draco considered buying, as well as the cabinet that Harry himself was hiding in, would come in quite important in book 6.
Also, there's something quite alarming about how Lucius was openly talking about poisoning people!
Of course, he'd wind up doing something else instead.
After Harry travels "diagonally", here's a moment of Draco enviously ranting about Harry, and a few pages of Lucius complaining about Arthur's... proposing a law to protect the interests of Muggles.
Already, Ron and Hermione had been writing letters over the summer!
Another fun #Hinny moment: the first thing that Harry said to Ginny was him asking if she will be starting school this year.
Ginny, being as shy as she is, nods... then accidentally puts her elbow in the butter dish!
This rather funny moment: all but one of the seven Defense Against the Dark Arts books required were written by Lockhart, leading Fred to speculate that their next teacher is a fan of his.
I guess Lockhart is a big fan of himself...
There's even a bit of a #Hinny moment!
As soon as Ginny saw Harry, she knocked over the porridge bowl, and blushed "like the setting sun"!
As another user I've come across commented, Harry thinking Ginny looks "like the setting sun" is excellent praise!
Firstly, the narration notes how excellent it is that everyone at the Burrow seems to like Harry.
Molly is giving this previously underfed boy *more* meals than he needed, while Arthur is fascinated by him.
Continuing the thread where I left off, there's the beginning of chapter 4, which has multiple things I want to note.
There is no amount of money, oil, or gold that is worth more than having bees, trees, and clean water.
I see!
What is it that you are waiting for?
Thanks to @siethnya.bsky.social for inspiring this fic!

Hello!
I have just released my first-ever #Wenclair fanfic: "Wheelbarrow Whimsy", in which #AgnesDeMille and Thing use a wheelbarrow to collect #WednesdayAddams and #EnidSinclair from the graveyard during the events of "Woe Thyself".

Hello from the T!
@mbta.com
The MAGA Junta will eventually be deposed. After that, all the right-wing influencers who have taken money from Russia to subvert American democracy will no longer be protected from prosecution.
What they've done is treason and we ought to make examples out of them.

What’s the matter?
Harry really made Ron blush with this complement about the Burrow!
Another moment of young Ginny being very shy.
Also, it's rather interesting that whereas she is usually quite talkative, she likes Harry so much that she becomes very shy around him... at least, for the time being!
Harry and Ron then begin "de-gnoming" the garden.
Oddly enough, I just realized that *this*, of all places, has the first mention of Gilderoy Lockhart: it was one of *his* books that Molly consults on de-gnoming!
Now, here's the book version of #GinnyWeasley 's iconic first scene... except her now-famous question, "Have you seen my jumper?", was only in the film.
Instead, she walked down the stairs, squealed at the sight of Harry, and ran back upstairs!
