I just had a conversation like this yesterday with my daughter about digital media and how her generation is getting into vinyl records and even back to cds, and non-phone cameras. They were immersed in non-tactile things as they grew up and now want something to hold.

No, Tom Dippel. Some of his legislation is anti abortion based or trying to get funds for religious schools. Otherwise I am in good shape with Judy Seeberger as my state senator.

Minnesota might vote blue in national elections, but many, many areas are solidly Republican, especially the rural areas. I am a blue dot in one of these red areas (my state rep is an ultra religious Republican asshole). Emmer is from another of these deep red pockets.

I have my champagne ready, but I don't get my hopes up anymore.

I had a dream last night that my neighbor (not an actual neighbor, but a dream neighbor) became President of the United States and did a fabulous job. Just goes to show, even an imaginary president is better than the one we have now.

I don't feel threatened by “a man dressed as a woman.” I do feel threatened by a white nationalist dressed up to look like a Christian!

Or paying for the gas of my friends who ARE there.

Love that movie! It's between that one and Fifth Element for my go to movies when I need some escapism.
