Decision-Making by Consensus Doesn’t Work in the AI Era While most leaders probably agree that their organizations will need to adapt to AI, too few are willing to admit that this will require them to abandon one of the most pervasive management principles...

Consensus is the hallmark of modern organizations, but there are weaknesses to this approach in the AI era: 1) it’s slow and 2) it distorts information. Looking ahead, success will depend on organizational agility: the speed at which they make decisions. How can this work?

Researchers Asked LLMs for Strategic Advice. They Got “Trendslop” in Return. Leaders might assume that LLMs are able to offer a kind of unbiased, outside perspective. But new research found that leading LLMs have clear biases when it comes to strategy and consistently recommen...

Leaders and consultants are increasingly turning to LLMs as silent partners in the boardroom. But as LLMs are integrated into executive workflows, a critical question emerges: How good is their advice? Is it trustworthy? Or rather strategy trendslop?

Burnout Looks Different Across the Org Chart. Watch for These Signs

hbr.org/2026/04/burn...

Burnout shows up differently across the org chart. Early-career employees burn out from ambiguity and lack of control, managers from “responsibility without authority,” executives from value conflicts and moral strain, and founders from over-identifying with their mission.

When Not to Use AI | Benjamin Laker AI may accelerate work, but communication and decisions involving values, relationships, or trust demand human judgment.

AI may accelerate work, but it can’t lead people.
Rely on your own judgment to deliver messages and make decisions involving values, relationships, or trust, he advises. That’s your job as a manager, and a responsibility that should not be outsourced to AI

„Der Homo sapiens hat nur noch 10.000 Jahre. Wahrscheinlich weniger“ Das Aussterben der Menschheit hat bereits begonnen, sagt der britische Paläontologe Henry Gee. Es bleibe nur noch wenig Zeit, das zu verhindern. Eine Option: der Weltraum.

„Zwischen 2060 und 2080 wird die Weltbevölkerung aufhören zu wachsen. Danach beginnt sie zu schrumpfen“.

What is NASA’s Artemis II moon mission, and when will it launch? For the first time in more than 50 years, humans will travel around the moon to test deep-space life-support systems.

Artemis II is the first human mission of the Artemis programme. While Artemis I was an uncrewed test mission that carried only mannequins and sensors, Artemis II will mark the first time since 1972 that astronauts will travel beyond low Earth orbit.

What is inference engineering? Deepdive Many engineers use inference daily, but inference engineering is a bit obscure – and an area rich with interesting challenges. Philip Kiely, author of the new book, “Inference Engineering,” explains

„… Thanks to increasingly capable open models, engineering teams have the opportunity to tweak how they use models, and this is where the theory and practice of inference engineering becomes invaluable.“

It also meant that on a vanilla 1kB ZX81, a full screen used most of the available memory.
So that collapsing was active on 1kB machines and turned off when more RAM was available?
Which might explain why listing your basic program on the screen got much faster as soon as you had more that 1kB RAM?
