Oh I hit the same problem when I started digital! What worked for me was working way bigger than the finished pic would be, using a slightly "hairy" brush, and pulling my lines quick and spamming ctrl-z until I got one that I liked. All of these hid the wobble that I couldn't get rid of otherwise.
