#repostyourart day 13 - ARTIST
artist vs cat, the perennial battle
PS: did you know we're gonna be Kickstarting a print version of The Goblin Throne this summer? And you can use evil magicks (ie, this link) to be among the first to know the moment it launches?? www.kickstarter.com/projects/iro...

with a third of the paintings done now, i took a photo of my progress wall:
art reference of a man sitting with a sword in one hand.
art reference of a man crouching over a pile of armor.
art reference of a man sitting with a large great sword.
art reference of a man holding two swords, one large over his back and the other smaller in his hand.
Aaron's willingness to take my direction of "give me orc, but it's okay if it's sexy" will never go unappreciated.
TrueRef: Just the reference you were looking for.
Two pages from the comic "teleportation and other luxuries". On the first page, a boy falls into a portal, landing himself: above the Arctic Ocean, a raging forest fire, a speeding bus and over a cliff. On the second page he pop into a blizzard, under the ocean and finally, directly into a casket.
#repostyourart day 10 is PENCIL
So here are the pencils for Teleportation and Other Luxuries, pages 112-113. Comics are fun, WHO KNEW.

Ouuh, exciting!! This is a commission from a while ago, I'd actually never heard of the game before I was tapped to do this, I had a lot of fun learning a bit about it!
Yes! This was a private commission from a few years back, I'd never heard of the game before so it was a real treat to get to learn more about it!
Truly! They knocked their characterization out of the park, it 100% felt like they had their own story going on.
OTGW2, these three have an unrelated adventure.
Are you TCAFin'?!?! BABS, we gotta get together to yell n scream!
One day, I'm going to make my shitty punk teen comic that have a whole separate story happening in the margins, Babs. I'm here to revives a whole subgenre*, one page at a time!
(*Certainly there are others doing this exact thing)
a boy looks up in fear from the glowing screen of his computer, to a screaming, skull-faced ghost, reaching out towards him.
Day 9 of #repostyourart is LIGHT
So, enjoy this scary encounter by the sickly light of an old computer screen.
If you see this, post something fantasy/D&D from your portfolio
SHIRTLESS BARBARIAN TAVERN BRAWL!! Sometimes you get to draw things that are just...10000% up your alley, hot damn.
For the HOM&M ttrpg book <3
I forgot about this!! I should really finish it, it's cute!!
A page of digital sketches, the lines are loose and fuzzy. One is a fat woman on her side looking content, another is a stern woman staring at the viewer, one is a heads hot of a goofy character with their tongue out, one is a skateboarding teen, a hand, an eye. And one is like, a little Muppet bird? It's yelling "tit!". A bunch of disparate styles, which is truly the joy of sketching.
A digital drawing of a fat woman with short hair. Her body is blue, and the words DREAM BIG are in the background in big pink bubble letters.
Some older stuff, because I am swamped with work! Sometimes, you just wanna draw a big naked bod β€οΈ
Sketch -> Finished
Clip of a comic page margin, you can barely see the drawing part of the comic page. There is a note to myself that says "Hi me! Allegra's earrings are Neptune!". My flatter left a note on my note that says "Hi you, have you considered.... Uranus?" Because of course he did lol. I drew a little character pointing to my flatter's note, saying "This fuckin guy..."
My flatter........
(Is my brother and I am delighted, actually)
Two drawing self portraits. One is me looking exaggeratedly despondent and sad, clutching my hair and crying over an iPad, the other is over the top confidence, drawing with my eyes closed and foot on the table.
I have, like, two settings when it comes to making art, I swear π
A reclining figure made of droopy moss, the colours are soft and warm.

This Moss Maiden has a certain autumnal quality, I think <3
