I recently started using this basic shapes model and it helps more than a detailed 3D model sometimes

since the shapes give me the anatomy reference while letting me stay loose

also doesn't help that English takes up more space than, say, Japanese or Korean
same line of dialogue but double the letters

I've been adopting the modern manga style with big panels and big texts, as it's easier to read on a phone

but it's kinda hard for comedy. I want to insert lots of character banter = but text balloons are huge, so they gotta be split across panels = but page count restraints

I've come to the conclusion I unfortunately don't enjoy works that deal with art creation, like witch hat, blue period, bakuman, etc

which seems kinda dumb as an artist myself, but the topic just doesn't interest me
