Pity there is no mention of WWT Penclacwydd in Llanelli which is a lot closer to the local railway station than the Newport Wetlands is to Newport. It is also one of the top spots in Wales to see birds. As county bird recorder I am perhaps a bit biased but it would have been nice to see it included.

The next outdoor meeting of Carmarthenshire Bird Club is Saturday 19th July. Paul Aubrey is leading a morning walk around Pembrey Burrows LNR. Meet at fisherman's carpark at 9.30am. All welcome.

I will have to shop more at Trostre Park I think Frank.
