We just received official notification that our award has been reinstated! Huge thanks to everyone who made their voices heard and pressured the administration to reverse course. Hopefully this is just the beginning.
Fingers crossed that your grant is still funded. There doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason so far. Hopefully some survived.
Our SAMHSA GLS Campus Suicide Prevention was terminated. I've heard from others who have lost Mental Health Awareness Training grants, STOP School Violence grants and others. It seems to be across all SAMHSA grants, not just addiction.
This looks DELICIOUS! When I was a kid we always ate stroganoff over those crunchy canned chow mein noodles. The crispy potatoes seem like a great way to recreate that contrasting texture I always loved.
A striped kitty has her eyes shut tight and shows off her buttery soft belly.

As a fan of traditional mai tais, I've tried many different brands and a few diy recipes. Liber & Co is the best.
Printed on a sign on what is likely a classroom wall, “When I grow up I want to be a customer in a store. I will buy broccoli, tomatoes and carrots. When I get home I will make soup.”
The key to happiness in life is to set yourself small, achievable goals.
Painting of three young women a swing laughing. They are wearing orange dresses that resemble October leaves.
“Come,” said the Wind to the Leaves one day.
"Come over the meadow and we will play.
Put on your dresses of red and gold.

Yeah, my 14 year old daughter would be all over that. But she wouldn’t expect to find it in the middle grades section.
My kids are 9 and 14 so we spend a lot of time in that area of the bookstore.
Your descriptions are wonderfully vivid, but I think it's over the borderline for middle grade and what is generally expected in that category. YA would definitely be fine. There seems to be a big leap between those categories, especially in horror.

Ugh. This thing is ridiculous.
Digital art in deep purples and ochre. A woman in a black dress leans back, holding a cigarette, exhaling a cloud of smoke that transforms into a star-filled galaxy within an oval frame.

Why must we sit on the banister? Because it is there.
