Mankind's Greatest Edible Invention — The Story of Saucisse de Toulouse, and of Sausages — Pellicle My French grandparents’ brown, hard-shell Delsey suitcases from the ‘70s are imprinted into my memory as magical objects. Yes, they packed clothes and toiletries for their stays with us in London, but...

Blast From The Past: @isabelleoc.bsky.social's story of heritage, culture, migration and saucisse.

"Like many...children of immigrants, food has been a way for me to participate and feel part of a culture that I only ever inhabit part-time."

Text from a news article saying ""It comes after a friend said Wallace had "no filter" and claimed he may have autism himself.

Wallace has never been tested for autism due to a feeling of responsibility that he passed it down to his son, the close therapist friend said.

They said they believed it may have contributed towards his alleged inappropriateness on set."

People need to stop using being autistic as an excuse for being an arsehole. It just embeds misleading stereotypes.
Yes, being autistic can mean you find social interactions difficult, I know I can.
It doesn't mean you default to walking around with a sock on your c**k.

Does anyone have a physical disgust reaction to like, prints?

I can’t stand paisley, looking at it makes me feel ill. Same with a specific shade of 80s jade green and the kind of teal colour that was around a lot in 2004-5.

I’m starting to view Bluesky as the first old people social media app. Something new, catered to the needs of aging geriatric millennials who grew up with social media but now we need something that suits our pace and interests.
