It was great. It IS great. Mario Chase, Game and Wario — there were numerous and novel games that are still a blast to play. There are so many possibilities that could have been explored but I don’t blame the 3rd party developers. This wasn’t a virtual boy debacle, but bad timing and other factors.

Also this may come across a little mean but maybe it needs to: organizing your own game jam is an EXTREMELY realizable ambition. You don't need anybody's permission. You can just do it and see who shows up. The trick, of course, is to keep doing it

I'm not sure when I actually started playing, but I completed Stages 1 and 2 in September before taking a little break and then jumping to and completing Stages 4 and 5 in April of 2014.
