I’m very much a hobbyist at this point. It’s not lesser (no matter how many times I tell myself otherwise), but it’s different.

I’m not in a position to quit my job and pursue VO full time. It’s just a fact.

As much as I would love to submit to more auditions, rosters, agencies, etc., I don’t feel qualified to do so at this time. Between my FT job & taking care of my grandma, I’m having trouble being selfish with my time & using it to take more classes/workshops to improve.

I’m not a religious person, but there still is something deeply moving about choral music. I used to be a part of choirs right up to my undergrad years. The act of shared liturgy, of singing amongst many, still makes me weep, still makes me feel a part of something bigger than myself.
