It is more than likely that Pope Leo's remarks were motivated also by the appalling incident below.
When he was elected last year, I'm sure the last thing he imagined was an attempt to silence his ministry by intimidating his family back in Chicago. I'm sure he must be worried about his brother. ๐

In fact, the target was John Prevost, who is much closer in age and outlook to Pope Leo.
