Mmm, baking some special cookies tonight using Irish whiskey. What better way to celebrate getting them prepped and in the oven than to have a glass of said Irish whiskey.

They are a local distillery here in Missouri. Three bottles so far. Experiment 1, which was a mead whiskey blend type of drink, Octane 101 which is a bourbon, and now the Inaugural batch which is the official launch whiskey for them and it is a citrusy whiskey with a nice orange finish on it.

Tonight’s a good night for bourbon. Red Ox’s Octane 101 is the drink of choice and I will not regret it.

A Missouri Manhattan featuring a bunch of locally distilled liquors. I might have to find me some of the Blacksmith Distillery bourbon used in this.

After a stressful week of work, tonight I unwind with some 1792 small batch and a cigarillo. Friday nights are meant to be enjoyed outside.

Normally I post whisky, tonight I’m drinking Blueberry Moonshine. Probably some of the smoothest liquor I’ve ever had. Would definitely get this again with as good as it has turned out to be

It’s a good night for some #DND. I’ll be sipping some #LarcenyBourbon and smiting the undead

Stopped at a local brewing co for some drinks to celebrate their third anniversary. Beautiful night to spend with my wife and some friends.

Last night was a good night to sample some variety. All three were good, my favorite was the Japanese Smooth. I would definitely drink any of them again.

Had two glasses of #Jameson tonight. The difference between a decidedly American whiskey and something Irish keeps it interesting. What does everyone think of #Bushmills and what is your favorite accessible variety?

I would be happy to. This is a product I believe in and want to get the word out about.

This is some of my current favorite whiskey. It’s a locally distilled product and I love the people behind it. #RedOxExperiment1
