Yeah, my pancreas just side-eyed me.

So proud and happy!
My kid at 5 years old would have thrown the same lookback at me, mouth agape, as the teen on the right. Heck, he still would.ππ
If you were, now you aren't.
No. That's from March 23.
Some libraries even loan things other than media. At our library you can borrow a pressure washer. Or a balance board. Or a ghost-hunting kit. Or a deck of Braille playing cards...
I love this pattern. It looks like little animal footprints in the snow π
My siblings and I used to dance around and jump off the sofa to that record as preschoolers, and then I played it decades later for my own kid. Pretty timeless.
Today my teen discovered Hogan's Heroes, and the binge is on.

Third verse gets deleted a lot. So does this one:
"In the shadow of the steeple I saw my people,
By the relief office I seen my people;
As they stood there hungry, I stood there asking
Is this land made for you and me?"
Love it. The Billy Bragg & Wilco version is my wakeup music on rough mornings. www.youtube.com/watch?v=SFPL...
My voter reg is current; this isn't about me (yet) but TIL that in SC you have to *request* certified copy of your marriage license - don't remember how I changed my name on my SS card, but all I find is the license copy signed on marriage date. Please call your reps and start your registration now!
Went to Vital Records, Cola, SC, for certified marriage doc - only had my signed copy of the license. Website said same-day t/a but I was told to order by mail with 4-week t/a. Reg deadline for SC's primary is 5/8. SAVE Act would unfairly burden women, & this wait for docs would run out the clock.
Same experience after chaperoning a high school field trip yesterday.
The federal minimum wage last increased a month before my kid was born. My kid will graduate from high school next year.
I also paid $3.58 a gallon this morning in Cola, SC, about 90 cents more than a month ago.
I remember a couple college professors expressing that to us in the '80s, but they seemed at the time to be outliers, and it was nothing like it is now
So...his own hiring was..."merit-based"?
My Gen X sister, Gen Z kid, and I are enjoying watching this series together. Sis: Ah! Kurt Russell! *sits down*
I'm wobbly and afraid of falling off a bike, but a trike is looking better and better.
Got put on Weight Watchers with my mom one summer when I was 13 and 10 pounds overweight. Back then WW mandated liver once a week. The diet of sadness.
I wish the trees would get a room.
I hear that ballad in Bugs Bunny's voice.
I would have been David. My sister would have been David. My other sister would have been David. They never got a David.
These are children. This has to stop.
Do what now?
When leadership fails (looking at you Lindsey Graham and RFK Jr.), we all have to step up and lead.
Measles FAQ and resources now live on our campaign website.
drannieandrews.com/measles/
@drannieandrews.com is doing more to combat the measles outbreak in South Carolina than our sitting senator, Lindsey Graham, is. Graham's too busy playing golf and watching the Super Bowl with Trump after Trump's racist post to focus on this.
#OTD in 1968, police killed three students at South Carolina State University during a protest to desegregate a bowling alley. Officers were acquitted, and the state never fully investigated.
