I'm always eager to hear what kind of new audio fields I can discover and speaking with Mariana Lopez was full of new fields for me! Learning about acoustical heritage and enhancing the audio experience for sight-impaired audiences was a true delight.

"Misgiven is an emotional sci-fi adventure about the lump in your throat." That line alone peaked my interest when I played the Demo at Reboot Develop 2025. I can just recommend checking out the demo. These are the indie experiences I'm excited about!

As the anniversary of Field & Foley is coming up soon, I remembered back to the first one where we compiled all the guest recordings. From indie voice acting and sound design with self-built machines to calm recordings it shows the wonderful variety

Excited for hearing what players think about this 👀
Was such fun working on this little gem
been thinking a lot about all the tools, workflows, supportive people, and management structures that have enabled me to Be A Good Sound Designer, and Do Good Sound Design Work. no sound designer is an island! we rely on a lot to do our work effectively.
After that amazing Poppy concert I also found this wonderful live set from Bad Omens. Definitely have to see them live as well! What was the last concert you really enjoyed? And what was the best one you've ever been to?

My first interview about production sound with Eran Ben-Isaac was great to learn about what is important to know on set. If you're looking to go into on-location recording this is surely valuable for you too!

I recently watched the /noclip documentary about Disco Elysium and I thought back to when I had the chance to talk with the main voice actor, Mikee Goodman. That game is one of the few I've played where I haven't skipped a single line. It feels alive!

Recommended watch! Also there might be something more about this in the future on Field & Foley 👀
This is so cool! I heavily recommend checking it out! It looks and sounds amazing and was super interesting to see these forms of life up close 😍🤓
Stumbled over this beautiful documentary by accident and it made me smile. Such raw, but calm passion for art. Super inspiring!
And if you haven't seen Edward Delandre's art yet go dive in! Glorious work!

Aw shit, all the best for a quick recovery!
Throwback to my third episode ever with the wonderful recordist Jez riley French. Even if the audio quality is lacking in that one, I still love our conversation. His experiences in long form recording taught me a lot! Most of all - quiet patience.

Have you checked out our latest episode with Scott Hitchon yet? We're not only talking about his award winning work on Frankenstein but also the lightning fast Dragon Ball Z style of audio cutting😁
What's a trope in audio that we really could live without? I'll start: the "cinematic impact" stingers that is been used 3-6 times in almost every big movie trailer 🙄
Today we have another great Scott for you in Episode 50! This time Faith takes to the interviewer seat again to bring us insights into Guillermo del Toro's Frankenstein with Scott Hitchon! And the sound effects team also won an MPSE Golden Reel Award for their wonderful work on this movie!
Delivering dried palm fronds from my yard to one of our #Foley stages. Glad I can make my yard waste someone else’s problem, LOL #gameaudio #filmsound
When I first watched Steve I had expected it to be good but it was fantastic! Such a raw, emotional journey that instantly puts you in the main characters shoes. A big part of it is due to Stevie Haywoods exceptional work in capturing the actors on set!

I came across this wonderful Video recently where Roxy Hemadani together with Wounded Buffalo shows the wonderful world of Wildlife documentary foley 😍

In preparation for the upcoming release of Puzzling Place as a desktop game, here’s a 40 min dev chat about the sound of the game. Its echoing voices, street musicians, and the fantastic consequences of being de facto quiet and focused in your listening experience.
Talking with Julie Elven blew my mind - you could record for big movie and video game productions from your studio at home? And after hearing Julie sing live with an orchestra, I can just urge you to jump on a chance when she's singing live!

Jubii! All the Empty Rooms vandt Oscar! Tillykke til hele holdet og til hele mit dejlige lydhold ❤️ #stoltlyddesigner
So proud of my Skywalker Sound colleagues tonight. Congrats to the winners for F1 and Sinners, and everyone who was nominated.
Happy Anniversary to Evil Dead 2. As a teenager I watched my vhs version of this film so much that the tape fell apart. Five years ago I was offered to do the sound design of the latest film in the franchise and got all the sounds Raimi and Campbell recorded for the old films. Some dreams come true.
