I need to spend more time with it, but I really enjoyed what I've played of Landlord Quest. It harkens back to classic LucasArts adventures, and ends on the right way to be a landlord.

Did you know that in 12 US states, a security deposit can’t cost more than two months’ rent? Some states even allow renters to accumulate interest on their deposit! Unfortunately, half of US states don’t have any laws limiting how much a landlord can take for a security deposit.

did you know that landlords need to give you 24 hours of notice before entering the premises for any reason? Whether they’re doing repairs, inspections, or touring the unit with prospective tenants, they must give a full day’s notice, and are often legally restricted to visiting between 9AM and 5PM!
